AI code review that reads the whole pull request.

WellMerged is a GitHub-native review companion. On every pull request it reorders the diff into Stories, cites every finding to a line, answers "can this merge?" with plain-language checks, and maps what else the change can break. GitHub stays the source of truth.

A pull request fanning out into four ordered story chapters, one highlighted in lime

Four things happen on every pull request.

Stories
Diff hunks regroup by intent and order foundation first, so you read the change in the order it was built.
Findings
Bugs, security issues, and gaps arrive with severity, confidence, and a suggested fix, each cited to a line.
Checks
Plain-language checks roll up with the findings into one merge verdict. Required checks block; overrides need a reason.
Impact
Imports are followed through the whole repository to map every file, contract, and component the change reaches.

How it starts.

  1. 01

    Install the GitHub App

Grant access to the repositories you want reviewed. Nothing runs until a pull request opens.

  2. 02

    Open a pull request

WellMerged reads the diff, generates the Stories, and posts one comment with a link to the review.

  3. 03

    Read it in order

Work through the Stories, judge the findings, and merge against a verdict you can explain.

Reviews are free on public repositories, and every language gets language-aware checks: Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, Ruby, PHP, and JavaScript.

Every pull request has a story. Read yours.

Install the GitHub App, open a pull request, and review it in the order it makes sense.
